- The Run Game — Last week UCF didn’t run the ball as well as expected. Holes weren’t opening, and the backs didn’t have much room to operate. That starts with the offensive line, and this week is their chance to make a statement. I want to see a real push up front, setting the tone early and often.
- Defensive Pressure — The D-line should live in the Aggies’ backfield. This is the kind of game where you want to see havoc plays: tackles for loss, sacks, and forcing turnovers. That’s how you put the game away quickly.
- Touchdowns, Not Field Goals — The Knights need to finish drives in the end zone. Against a team like A&T, settling for three is not good enough.
What I’m Watching
- O-Line dominance — Can they create running lanes and control the trenches?
- Turnovers — UCF’s defense needs to flip the field and give the offense short fields to work with.
- QB chemistry — Whether it is Fancher, Jackson, or both, this game is about rhythm and confidence.
